Can OEM Windows 10 Home be moved to another motherboard if it is linked to my Microsoft account?

Hello, I have a Windows OEM key and it is linked to my Microsoft account. My questions is, if I sign in to any old computer will that key move, or will it only work if I sign in on the same motherboard? I am planning on reinstalling Windows but in the future I may want to upgrade my motherboard. Thanks for the help!

Is it a pre installed OEM copy(came with a system you bought) or is it oan OEM copy you bought buy itself from a retailer?

Good chance it's tied to the motherboard like most preinstalled OEM copies. To get a concrete answer you'd need to contact Microsoft to see if it can be moved or not.
