Has anyone else had a problem with not being able to go forward when browsing. It happens about 50% of the time, and usually stops for awhile after rebooting. I am unable to left click on a link to go forward. It seems like it tries to go forward but then goes back to the original page. I can go forward by right clicking and selecting open in new tab, but it gets old because I have to do that everytime I want to proceed.
One more issue I have is sometimes the volume gets dragged down automatically. When I try to slide it back up it seems like it wants to fight me and goes back down.
Reboots usually corrects the issue, but only for a while. I run Norton 360 and Malwarebytes.

I have A gateway FX 6800 Vista 64 SP2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got a suggestion for you.... check out my website... click on the Internet Explorer tab... if you do not want to go there, i have a small post about tab problems... here it is...

Some people that upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 are experiencing problems with their tabs not working properly and taking forever for them to load. This is mostly known to be an error with actprxy.dll not installing properly during the Internet Explorer upgrade. No worries, fixing this issue is extremely easy. All you need to do, is go to your start menu search box, type in cmd, right click cmd, and run as administrator. Once cmd comes up, simply type: regsvr32 actxprxy.dll . you should then get a little notification on-screen that says DllregisterServer in actxprxy.dll succeeded. All you need to do now, is reboot and test IE8.
