Can PC133 run at 100MHz?

I've got an Abit BP6 motherboard which only supports up to PC100 (I think). If I buy a PC133 stick with the intention of upgrading my motherboard sooner or later, will the stick run at 100MHz until I buy a PC133 motherboard?

I have ran pc133 at 66mhz before for the same reason and pc133 @ 100mhz. In both cases it was cheap ram too so go for it.

In case you need any more corroboration, I'm running a combination of PC133 and PC100 at 66mhz on a crappy old Celeron system.

Works fine.

Yes, it is the same stuff, just rated at a higher speed.
