will it deliver same max speed?

I'm using ocz vertex 3 max iops and it's very slow starting up steam and pubg game. it takes approx 3-10min to load the game.

how much faster if I use the nvme ?

how much diffrent using samsung sata860 evo ones?

What are you planning to use this drive for?
Not the OS, I hope. Cause that won't work.

As a secondary drive? Sure. But given the elderly state of your system, you're probably not doing anything that really requires the speed of the 970 EVO, vs a regular SATA III SSD.

So what other drives are in this system?

for os, steam, pubg , dota2 and other games.

why it is not working for os?
Because that motherboard was produced long before NVMe drives were a thing. It does not know how to talk to them properly.

For a game system? The only difference you'd see is a lighter wallet.
A regular SATA III 2.5" SSD will work just fine.
Samsung 860 EVO or Crucial MX500, for instance. For a LOT less money.
