Can somebody tell me what's wrong with my computer and how to fix it?

I just built my computer yesterday and there were no problems at first, as everything was working fine. That's when I restarted it and suddenly no post, no beep, and no video. However, the optical drive opens and closes, all the lights are on and the fans are spinning. I pulled the ram out and it did beep continuously and I tried all slots. I also cleaned everything and rewired everything and proceeded. Nothing. I even cleaned off the CPU, checked the pins, checked the slots, placed it back in and reapplied paste. Nothing Then I reset the BIOS from the motherboard and nothing. Finally, I stripped the whole thing down, cleaned everything with compressed air and checked for bent pins. No bent pins, all wires were placed back firmly and the same problem occurred. It wouldn't boot with the GPU out either so I narrowed it down to anything but the RAM and GPU. Here are my specs:
-AMD FX-6300 CPU
-ASUS DUAL FAN RX-480 GPU
-Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P motherboard
-Fury Hyperx 8gb single stick ddr3-1600 RAM
-EVGA 500W 80+ certified PSU

Any ideas?

CPU, single stick of RAM in the correct slot, (1st if its a 2 slot mobo, 2nd if its a 4)
Get it to beep again.
Pretty sure that board uses an AWARD bios not AMI, which would mean the below list applies to you. Looks like it might be a bit dated. the best way to figure this out is to refer to your motherboard manual.
1short beep :System normal
2 short beep :CMOS Error
1 long beep and 1 short beep:Memory error
1 long beep and 2 short beep:Graphic card error
1 long beep and 3 short beep :AGP error
1 long beep and 9 short beep :Memory Error
Continuous long beep :Memory not correctly installed
Continuous short beep :Power supply unit failed

I don't get any beeps unless I remove the RAM or unplug a PSU cord. That's the problem. No beep-no boot.
