Based on my understanding its "hybrid drive" with an optane accelerator and an NAND m.2 drive. So if you were in my situation and had two HDDs with a shared drive space of approximately 7TB you could use the SSD component of the H10 as an SSD, probably to host the OS and other priority programs, and the accelerator portion of the H10 would "boost" performance of my HDDs, which host media and my less intensive steam hoard. I usually keep high performance games on my SATA ssds.
The reason i ask is newegg has a pretty good CPU/mobo/H10 deal right now, as i was looking to upgrade to an i7 9700k anyways...

All in all its about 100 extra bucks for the h10, which is a 32gb cache with 512 gb of ssd storage.
