Can someone help me choose a good CPU for a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P?

I have this motherboard and it's not being used, so I want to use it to build my sister, a novice, a little rig to replace her aging and slow computer. I don't think she'll do much with multithreading apps, but I want the computer to feel zippy and fast. I don't want to spend too much if possible...Any CPU and/or RAM recommendations would be appreciated.

Check out the CPU support list and make sure that the BIOS version is compatible too.

Any of those CPU's on the list will work depending on the BIOS version.

Thanks! But $200 is starting to get a bit pricey. Would she get value from six cores vs two or four? She has no idea what photo or video editing is...she'll be browsing and printing and the kids will play some basic online games (they're 8 and 10 year old girls so no 3d games) and might use MS Office for school.
