Hello guys, I know this sound stupid, but I'm new in the ultra wide monitors world. I just build myself a new pc and right now my bottleneck is my monitor (limited to 120hz).
I'm a gamer, I build myself a gaming pc, I feel right now that the sweetspot for gaming is 1440p.
Always had flat screen, never went wider than 27". Still feel very comfortable with that. But I'm somewhat interested in getting an ultra wide monitor.
My question is, how does the resolution works with those ? Can you still select 2k resolution or it's called something else ?
Do you get less FPS since the screen is wider and the computer needs to projet more details on the monitor ?
Let me know, thanks for the help!
