[SOLVED] Can Synology DVA3219 be used as a regular NAS?

Hello,

I never bought a NAS before but I am planning on buying this NAS when it comes out. I am planing to use it for streaming but I just saw it is meant for surveillance. My question is:
Can this NAS be used for for streaming or can it be only used for surveillance?

Money is not a limiting factor here. Does anyone recommend a better 4-Bay NAS?

Synology uses DSM
The only reason this is for Surveillance is because of the GPU inside. Sounds like it uses the cores for certain surveillance tasks, as it still uses an Atom as a CPU
