Can the AMD E1-1200 1.4 GHZ CPU run games?

I've been looking for a laptop and found a Lenovo gaming laptop with a AMD E1-1200 1.4 GHZ CPU and was wondering if it could run games... If so how well would it run games

Some tabletop games, browser and minesweeper?
That clockspeed is too low for anything recent... at least 3Ghz.
'Gaming laptops' are a marketing gimmick. That 6 yr old chip was in a gaming laptop?
I'm at a loss for words.

Really old or light indie titles, probably.

Anything overly mainstream, no.

I wouldn't even consider it.
It won't even hit the subpar 30fps mark.
Look elsewhere. Something recent with at least 2cores/4threads - 4cores/4 threads preferred.

I need a laptop as soon as possible and it's just a starter so I don't need great quality, I just saw this one for $120 could I get a better laptop for about the same price

No, I think I had an E2 I bought in 2014? and it's dog slow. I stupidly upgraded it to Win 10 and it was nearly unusable afterwards.

With that budget, you need to go to eBay and buy old business laptops like HP Probooks with an AMD A8 or A10, they would probably give you the best value.

True, but in that scenario, it served the point. Realistically, FPS would probably be lucky to hit double digits in some of those titles.
