I'm trying to make my first computer build and i was wondering if I could use this board, as it's $100 cheaper than my next favored option. I seem unable to find a clear answer on whether it will run my RAM I have chosen.

The build is as follows:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110 94.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory:A-Data XPG V2 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 270X 4GB DirectCU II Video Card
Power Supply: Antec 1300W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

My main concern is that I can't find specs that say the board can run the RAM, however I'm using PCPartChecker and it seems to think i can. Is that a mistake or is their some information I'm missing?

P.S. If you see any problem or advice you'd like to make on my build feel free to comment, like i said its my first one.

Thank you so much for any and all your help!

Solution
Maximum speed which this mobo supports is 2133MHz. Yes you can use 2400MHz DDR3 with this board but it will operate at 2133MHz not at 2400MHz. Hopefully, this clarifies your query.

What is your budget and primary use of this build?

That answers my question perfectly and explains why it says its compatible(BECAUSE IT IS! lol)
Heavy Gaming and programming as well as graphics editing and social uses I.E. facbook youtube and douments
My budget isnt set in stone as long as i get my moneys worth. but im hoping not to go over $1500 and my choices are based on best bang for your buck over best specs and such

So would the Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z be a better pick? is it worth the etra $100 to get the max outta my ram and such?

This build will serve your purpose rather well. I've given you:

CPU: Intel i7 because you are into gaming and graphics editing. If you were into gaming alone then i5 would have been recommended.

GPU: R9 290 4GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8GB @ 1866MHz with CAS 9. If it was gaming only then 2x4GB @ 1600MHz would have been recommended.

My only problem is that I dont like intel processors, i know they're the best, but they are almost never worth the price you pay for them.
Thanks for the input though ill look at the stuff
