Useful benchmark:

My BF3 experience:
I have a good GTX680 (3-slot Asus at 1201MHz boost). It's comparable to an overclocked 770.

I can ALMOST run BF3 at max settings, 1080p, 60Hz. Very rarely do I dip. The quality difference between where I'm out now and the absolute max would be almost unnoticeable.

*If you're looking for an inexpensive, good card, get the MSI N760 TF. It's the best value you can get at that price point.

GTX760 vs 670:
The 670's cost more than the 760's. Many of the 670's are $350 while brand new 770's with higher performance cost $400!

I'd recommend a 760 for $260, but go much above that and I'd recommend something like the Asus GTX770 OC...
idk why but I guess trolls will be trolls bf4 is very well optimized I have the asus gtx 760 dcu2 bf4 is ultra'd out even 4x and its running smooth I have the i5 4670k everything at stock clocks bc Idk how to do all that fun stuff but yeah 760 max's everything on my pc from swtor - bf4 and titanfall and eso are all very well optimized as well so its a future proof card :) money well spent but just saying if u have the extra 100 which I did not grab the 770 :)

i have a gtx 760 superclocked from evga and i have everything on ultra but aa is turned off as you will not notice it while playing a fast paced game and i get 130-150 fps

no he says he wants it for bf4 not bf3 there is a big difference in graphics intensity

Sure you can. I get 30 fps in bf4 with my 6800k and no discrete graphics card at 1080p on low details. Sure you can get 60 fps with a 760. Maybe with AA turned down a bit but it's no big deal I guess

Edit: 30 fps in MP mode, of course

I know this is an old question but i had been through the same and found a satisfactory answer that i would like to share.

I have a MSI N760 hawk card which is a factory oc'd version of GTX 760. I am not oc'ing it further and nor can i oc my i5 4570. I did not want to invest in cooling as temperatures are around 40C during mid-day in my place.

Coming to point, I am running BF4 at ultra at 1080p. I use Geforce Experience which downloads the gaming profiles and for BF4, it has set everything at Ultra. I am also doing recordings with Shadowplay at 60 fps and they turn up smooth so i can vouch for no shatters or lags. In fact i intend to upload a benchmark for this hawk card soon.

To note: I purchased this card in Feb '14, and even then the reviews i read on Guru3d and elsewhere were missing BF4 as they were before the game released (Guru3d review dates to July '13 around when the card was released). For the basic GTX 760 they were giving it a playable 30-40 fps. So it's probably older driver usage. The 331.65 drivers in november for e.g. increased performance upto 12% of BF4 on single-card 7x series.

So go for this factory oc'd card and prepare to SLI it in future. Its not even a year old so will probably be available for some time around.

I'm from future and GTX-800/900 series still didn't come out 😛

No i had the gtx 480 which died last month but it was getting 50-70 fps ultra no AA , upgraded to gtx 760 now getting 50-100 with AA 100% ultra ( 60-70 most of the time) 50 on 1 kind of map with alot of players but other maps running fine.

Yeah!
My card also gives good FPS at all ultra except resolution (I use 1920x1080p with 100% resolution, not 200%)
