My rig is currently running a gtx 770 is this something that is still able to manage current AAA titles? I know not on high but at least something that works.

Solution
Yes and no.
I have a 680 lying around which is near identical to the 770 and it runs doom at 60fps on low.
That's one of the less demanding triple A titles too.
If you're at 1080p and don't mind lower quality settings, yes it can manage current games, but i'd upgrade to something like the MSI Gaming X RX 480 which is currently an absolute bargain.
Considering that card will last another year at most, i'd upgrade now and get it out of the way. :)
It'll be well worth it in the long run.

Solution
Of course it can play the actual AAA-Titles if you are willing to decrease the settings to medium or low details. I would assume that the average gamer is even using a lower card and most games are made for the masses. Higher detail options in the pc versions are of course made for the bleeding edge GPUs, but if the game industrie would only support high end they would not sell enough games. I think you are able to still play at least a few years with a GTX770 if you are willing to turn down details.
