Can the Intel Atom overclock?

Hey guys I just have a quick question. I have an Intel Atom 230 and im not sure if i can overclock it. I seen this article once that you could overclock it to 2 ghz or something but im not sure

My mobo is and Emachines E945GCU

While I believe modest overclocking is possible with this chip, there is no good reason to do so. A laptop that's going on a decade old isn't going to handle the heat very well -- overclocking is more a desktop thing for a very good reason -- and the fact remains that since this is a low-end CPU from 2007/2008 or so, your marginal gains in real-life performance will be next to nothing.
