Can the NZXT S340 Elite case handle these parts without overheating?

I was wondering if running an i7-8700k with a EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Gaming would be too hot for the NZXT S340 Elite case being that i keep hearing about air flow issues? This will be on a MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC. I've seen a few builds with similar specs but I've come across a few concerns from some people regarding the airflow. I'll be including a NZXT Kraken X62 with one AER 140 and AER 120 fan.

I just want to make sure before i buy that case that everything will function appropriately within it without issues. Thank you! :)

If needed, here are the other items included:
Seasonic Focus Plus 850W Gold
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200 MHz
SAMSUNG 860 EVO 500GB
Seagate Barracuda 2TB

the s340 supposed to come with 2 fans - rear and top. I guess that those fans will be replaced by AER 140 and AER 120 fan that you mentioned earlier.
the only place in S340 to mount the radiator is in front of the case. the cooler comes with two fans that MUST be attached to the radiator. you can replace them with other 140mm static pressure optimized fans, but radiator must have fans on it.
Regular is not a number. my regular today was 35C. some people have normal room temp of under 20C.
No, you are not putting anything at risk as most components have overheating protection in a form of throttling or shutdown.
To avoid overheating you play with fans speed. the goal is to keep the GPU under 80 and CPU under 75C.
With the kraken x62, u are limited with front mounted intake config which would bring in hot air for the gpu. And since the the gpu fans sucks the air from the bottom and exhausts it on all sides, a top mounted intake won't help much.

A top mounted radiator is the best considering that the 1080ti is a beefy card which requires proper cooling and that a 280 rad can easily cool a 8700k for gaming loads.

So look for your choice of case which has the ability to house the top 280 rad as exhaust. Front 2x120 mm fans as intake and a rear exhaust.

If the front fans don't get obstructed by any drive cage, even better.

^ yes, gaming load is within 100w, and a 280 rad can easily cool that with a bit of hot air. Gpu is the main component affected in gaming situations having higher loads, hence front intake fans. The rear fans at higher speed will help a bit and so would the top most front intake fan.

Yes, the 280 wannabe liquid cooler shinny toy can cool the CPU even with a bit of hot air.
the difference between CPU rad placed as intake and as exhaust is:
1. intake rad GPU temp goes up by 0-3C
2. exhaust rad CPU temp goes up by 5C or more.
both cases are not critical. it just the CPU rad as front intake slightly more effective.
All that assuming decent enough intake openings.

^ the GPU temp is fine in any case. It is actually much easier to cool the GPU due to much larger surface area of the GPU die compared to the CPUs.
This die size what actually makes it possible to cool a 300w GPU with a 120mm rad the coolant can be at much higher temp than when attempting to cool a CPU.

So the consensus is just to get a better designed airflow case. However, even if i picked the 340 elite, cooling wont be an issue for the gpu with what i have as a setup, right?

you can cool it, though no one can tell you how loud it will be as it depends on many factors like the room temperature or the overlooking settings or even the type of load you'll put in your computer.
for normal use, it should be OK with couple exhaust fans at back and top and whatever max amount of fans you can put in front.

Couldn't i just put two fans in the front in front of the radiator fans or does the kraken x62 really completely block it from intaking air?

Even at regular room temperature doing moderate to heavy gaming; the gpu wouldnt be in dangerous heat levels on average would it? I guess what i want to know is what would really put it at risk. What i would have to do to reach that point.

Thanks for all the answers and insight guys. I really appreciate it.

Thank you for the answers, it really helps! This is my first time coordinating a gaming PC as ive never built one nor know about what all the parts do xD So i only have a vague understanding of everything after doing some research myself.
