Wait are you sure? I just checked Newegg's website and found this:

"If an individual Combo or Kit item is returned for a refund, the applicable discount will be voided, and the discounted amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If your Combo/Kit discount amount is greater than the individual unit price of the item you wish to return, then the item cannot be returned for a refund by itself; you will need to return all items in the Combo/Kit or return it with other items of value in order to receive a refund. For example, if your Combo/Kit discount was $5, and you return one of the items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your refund amount. "

So is it saying that you can return individual items usually, but the combo discount is removed. Is there an exception for the GPUs?

Well, if that's what it says, than I guess you can.

Doesn't say which specific item. It says that a Combo is a group of items, offered at a discount from regular price. If you return an individual for refund, the item is returned at regular price minus the discount.

So of you got $100 off for the combo, and returned the gpu, regular price $400, newegg will refund you $300. Meaning you just bought a 2 item combo for full regular price, maybe more. Only way you get All your money back, full refund, is return All the items.

RMA for replacement /exchange/doa etc with no money refund is different.

Instead of making a return and losing money, you should resell the parts as new on ebay for full price.

If anyone was wondering, I found out that you can't return the combo items separately. It says that on the product page of the combos on Newegg. I somehow missed that on the website earlier.

And this was a direct result of the problems with supply of the 3xxx GPUs.

People that wanted ONLY the GPU bought the combo, and returned the unwanted parts.
Newegg put a stop to that.

I guess instead of reselling it why don't sell it on eBay there you can get more money from the unwanted part and you can get a new one too at an affordable price.
