I have a Asus RT-AC1200 router connected to by wire to my pc for internet. Does it allow me to connect to my wireless camera?

Is this Asus acting as the primary router? If so, it should allow you to connect to WIFI cameras. Some "wireless" camera systems do not use standard WIFI. Swan for example does not use standard WIFI between the cameras and DVR.
