I would sacrifice the 256 GB SSD down to 128 GB, the Maximus Ranger to the Maximus Hero, the CM V700 to a less expensive PSU like EVGA 600B or whichever brand you prefer, and opt for a GTX 980.

I find one 128 GB SSD is perfect for the OS plus a bunch of applications and even a game or two, and you have the option to RAID 0 down the line with another 128GB SSD for close to the same price as a single 256.

Other than that it's a nice build. I'd personally skimp out on the mobo/psu/ssd to get into that 980 territory. I say skimp, but really it's just shaving a few unnecessary dollars.

Good luck.

Dude why would you tell me to get a 980 if you dont know what resolution im going to be gaming at. Im going to be gaming on a 1080p monitor so no need for a 980 - CM V700 is made by Seasonic amd is a fully modular PSU - The only benefit the HERO has over the RANGER is 2 more SATA ports and like 2 USB slots on the back which i dont need (I might even go with the MSI z97 Gaming 5 also looks good)

where does it state how much money equates to "for the money of course"?
of course it can get better...

Good build, but there is one thing I'd change.

That RAM won't do justice to the motherboard, it is budget RAM that runs at just 1600 MHz, while your motherboard supports 2133MHz and even higher, so go with something like this:

Other than that, good build!!

P.S. : I think you mean Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD 😀

I never reccomend anything less than a 256 GB SSD, go bigger if you can, but at least 256. Drop the cost of the mobo if you need to, to get a 256 or larger , if you have to. Otherwise, looks awesome. Perhaps upping the ram, but ram is pretty expensive right now.

Which one makes the most sense?

Lol you have reading comprehension issues OP. I never told you to buy anything. I told you what I would do instead. If you don't want opinions from people don't ask. If you're looking for praise for your build look elsewhere. Ignore that up vote it was an accident.
