I've got this old 435 x 196 x 420 mm case, and I was going to put a 145,7 x 136 x 162,8 mm CPU cooler inside. Will it fit? Should I get a bigger case just in case?

The only case I can find with those exact dimensions. Is this your case? If it is, then you need a new case. It's only rated for 120 mm of CPU cooler height.
