Can this cpu make my gpu bottlenecked?

I went to the bottlenecker.com and put in rx580 and the ryzen 5 2600. It said your gpu is bottlenecking your cpu. Isn't it ok for the cpu to be better than the gpu? Will it cause problems?

Also I only have the rx580 and was wondering if it was worth it to buy the ryzen 5 2600.

GPU bottle-necking your CPU is good. You will have upgrade paths in future, so that you don't have to upgrade everything in one go.

I dont know that site. Your gpu should be your bottleneck. Something has to be it. A 2600 and rx580 are a good pair.

Well haven't bought the cpu or mb yet but planning on the b450m-a/csm

Any recommendations for the cpu or motherboard?

What is your budget? Where are you planning to buy your parts? Are you looking strictly for mATX motherboards? The Ryzen 5 2600 and ASUS PRIME B450M-A/CSM will pair well together.

Please do not base your decision on anything that bottlenecker.com says. That website is garbage. The term bottlenecking is becoming grossly overused. It will not harm your system in any way. There is nothing wrong with that CPU and GPU combination
