Hi there. I have an i5 3470 @ stock (77w) paired with R7 240 2GB DDR3 (45w) and 8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz ram.The GPU is also overclocked , 30% to be exact. I'm thinking about replacing it with a GTX 1050 Mini 2GB (75w). I don't think there will be any problem because it's just 30w more. So will I be fine ? Here's the pic of the 400w generic PSU : https://imgur.com/gPtzFni

Solution
Go for a decent 500W psu there plenty of good high quality units floats round for $50 with tight budgets I always invest in Brand new PSU its piece of mind as if your generic blows it will under the extra load you can potientally fry your build. I advise new PSU $60 with rebate depending where in the world with a 1050 for withen a few $ is peace of mind. Trust me from experience, lesson learnt for repowers & rebuilds on a Buget I always factor in a Brand new PSU.

I wouldnt use that really... PSU is most important piece of the PC. Invest in it.

But I have an extremely low budget. Can I atleast use this PSU temporarily ? I will change 2-3 months later.

You can get a good PSU for about 60$ mate, I wouldnt cheap out. Its buy once cry once scenario

No, don't use that PSU.

It's only 270W if it can even handle that.

So you're saying that my PSU can't even handle 270w ?

It's a generic unit so I would doubt it.
