Can this laptop handle gaming

Hey guys just a quick question, can HP laptops handle gaming?

It's a new laptop. And can i just keep playing on it for 5 - 6 hours ?

Full name: HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15

Specs:
Processor: Intel core i5 dual core processor 3.2 GHZ
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GT 740m 2GB
RAM: 8GB
Windows: 8 64bit

Games i wanna play:
Minecraft (Feed The Beast to be exact)
League of legends
Dota 2
And i guess BF4

And i know i have to work on the charger not the battery

Yes, but don't expect it to play games like bf4 on high settings. Other than that, you're good.

Yes, i play all the game using those exact spec laptop but only w/ default setting or geforce experience optimized w/ a lil tweaking
