Can this mobo deliver enough power to an RX 480

I heard that the RX 480 can draw a lot of power through the PCI-E slot and that some mobos aren't able to deliver enough energy. If this mobo isn't good, could you show me one which is able to send that power and has sata 3 and usb 3.0 or 3.1

It doesnt depend on the mobo a lot.

Thats a really big issue and it has affected high end motherboards (X99) to even h81 motherboards

Just get the 480 when they release the driver fix or wait for the more power connectors edition which wont use more power than it is allowed from the pci e slot in your mobo

there a few motherboard that can carry the 480 right know just wait a few weeks until gigabite, msi ore asus show there card and just get 1 with a 6 and 8 pin connector ore even 8 and 8 pin

but is it worth waiting for the sapphire 480 over buying one now? im selling my 7970 by friday but can last until end july for a new 480 to come out.

It depends on if you want to shorten the lifespan of your motherboard you could get the one with the 1x6pin now (the reference). But that one is also very hot and a bit loud (as any reference card) and if you will want to OC. If it is close to the price you could get a custom cooled 390 tho which wont have all these issues. Or get a used super cheap 970/290
