Question Can this monitor be multi functional?

Hey there asking a question,

BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710U 4K Gaming Monitor (27 Inches, IPS, 144 Hz, 1ms, HDR 600, HDMI 2.1, 48 Gbps Full Bandwidth, VRR Compatible for PS5, Remote Control) White​

Willing to buy this monitor for playing with PS5 but want to use it for PC as well, willing to use 4K for PS5 but can i down the resolution for PC to 2k is it worth it? Since i would like to enjoy bigger fps for pc games.

Or any other suggestions are more than welcome want atleast 144+ hz for gaming PC at 2K

i am currently playing baldur's gate 3 on my 43" mini led odessey G7 connected to my laptop with 3050ti as i havent built my PC yet.

I play it on 2k in exclusive full screen and i must say you can see some blurry textures if you play in downscaled resolution. But not by much.

The PS4 is not a proper 4k gaming console either. 2k would benefit you more.

expect 2k 60fps gaming and 4k 30fps gaming if thats the case. I would choose 60fps gaming if the monitor is close by and smaller.
