Hi Guys , Yesterday I've tried to turn on my pc but nothing happened and screen remained black, then i gave the pc to a computer engineer he told me that my psu got burned and i need a new one, while searching in my garage i found this guy over here

Can it handle this system until i get a new one? also plz suggest me a sub-$50 one

CPU : Core i5 760 stock clock
GPU : Radeon HD 7870XT 2GB
HDD : Seagate momentus Xt 750GB
RAM : 8 GB drr3 1600mhz ram 1.5v
CPU Cooler : CM hyper 212 x
MOBO : foxconn h55mxv-k6
3 120mm fans and one 80mm
and a samsung dvd writer
Also , If it can handle it without the card , i have an old 5450, will the psu handle it?

i was using a traditonal one , called new matrix , it was 650w

Thanks a lot for your reply.

If i were you, i would go for the CX600, its $60 at the momnet but the extra 10 dollars will be worth it http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-Series-Watt-CX600/dp/B0092ML0OC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373801075&sr=8-1&keywords=cx600

How? Im not trying to be rude or anything but I just want to know what makes it better.

another 2 questions , sorry :3

1-What is 80+ psu and why it is pricier than normal psu?
2-what are the risks of connecting a psu that supplys lower wattage than the system minimum requirment?

Thanks.

Thanks a lot man, u both really helped me a lot.

But which one gets the best answer? :)

I linked the CX600 not the CX500...

I still recommend the CX600 pwersupply, the one that Blackbird linked was good, but its all down to brand loyalty. 20W wouldn't make much difference. But whenever you are buying a PSU, ALWAYS MAKES SURE IT IS 80+ AT LEAST. This means that it has been certified and is at least 80% efficient. For example, a CX600 could drain 7500W fron your electrical socket but waste only 150W as heat energy. Where as a non 80+ could waste 300W and not deliver enough power to your system causing the PSU to short out and could potentially harm your components.
