Hello!

I recently did a major overhaul of my pc and I'm starting to get worried about the vibrations coming off of my washing machine/dryer.

The washing machine and dryer sit just outside of my computer room about 3.5 meters away from my pc (its a small room). Could this cause any damage in the long run? it causes some vibrations sometimes, especially in a specific phase of the drying process, the vibrations can definitely be felt and my chair, legs, etc will start to vibrate some.

Not sure if this matters at all but here are my specs:

Psu: evga 700w GD gold rated (non modular)
Cpu: 5800x3d
Mobo: msi mag b550 gaming plus
Cpu cooler: peerless assassin 120 rgb
Ram: 2x 8gb ddr4 cl18 3600mhz
Gpu: 6750xt
Nvme: 512gb
Hdd: 2tb
Fans: 6 thermalright rgb fans
Case: xpg starker

Thank you for your time and opinions!

its unlikely that those vibrations will cause any damage immediately, although you could try and isolate your pc and put it in a different location or consider any soundproof measures. also just regularly maintain your pc and you should be good and set.
hope this helps:)

It is highly unlikely, but you can take measures if it makes you feel better.
You can get what are called "squash ball feet" and attach them to the case. They are popular for 3D printers to not transfer vibrations into other items in the room.
Most of the time, you need to 3D print them yourself, but you can find some for sale occasionally. Other vibration dampening feet can be found for more industrial uses.

The only component likely to be affected by external disturbances is a spinning hard disk and even then, 3.5m separation from the dryer should be more than enough distance.

You can buy special hard disks with vibration sensors built into the PCB, but these are only for use in large RAID arrays with more than 8 closely mounted drives. Stop worrying.
