So basically i have an optical modem in my room but the range of wifi isnt good enough to reach my tv in the living room. I've another adsl modem and im wondering if i can link these 2 modem via a telephone cable(the one which has 4wires) so that i use the wifi on the adsl modem. Ive already configured the adsl modem but only works if both are connected through cat5 cable. Do i need to use an adapter or can i connect the telephone line in both cat5 port?

Won't work... Your ADSL modem is expecting a digital signal on the phone line, which your fiber modem will not output... You are better off buying a wifi-router and set it up in AP mode. Also, I strongly suggest against using a telephone line to connect the RG45 ports...
