Hey guys I have a rx 470 right now and I am considering on getting a rx 580.
Can I crossfire these 2 graphics card, if I can do I need a crossfire bridge or is it bridgeless.

Oh, ok thx. I have another question, rx 570 is about 280 usd in my country. Should I get 570 and crossfire it with my 470, or should I sell my 470 and get a gtx 1070 or 1060?

You are always better off with a single, stronger GPU, than a multi-GPU config. Heat and power can get complicated in such builds.

You do have options here: Vega 56, Vega 64, GTX 1070, GTX 1070ti, GTX 1080, and GTX 1080ti.

Really a matter of your budget and needs.

Not sure if it's officially supported, but I believe you can crossfire a 470/570 with a 480/580. Crossfire requirements are more lax than SLI, I believe the cards only need to have the same GPU (Polaris 10, aka Ellesmere in this case).

But as said above, even if you can, doesn't mean you should.

This is possibly true, but keep in mind that the combos will run at the speed of the slower device. You still have the heat/power (and dreaded micro-stutter) issues associated with multi-GPU configs. It should also be noted that some games don't support these configs.

Heck, you might even be able to do the 470/580 combo, but it would be like having 2 470s. Not sure worth the hassle. Rather, I would sell the 470 and get a stronger single GPU solution as noted earlier.

I just found out the second pci e slot for my motherboard is only x4, so I decided not to crossfire. I bought the MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G, would a 650 bronze corsair psu be enough?
CPU: AMD FX 6300
Ram: 8gb
Motherboard: GA-970A-DS3P

:O I didn't even think about my cpu, I have a 1080p monitor, so if the monitor is 1440p, would the bottleneck reduce?

1440p would push more usage but fps would remain the same.
I doubt at 1080p youll push much more than 60% usage out of a 1070 max.

This isn't a real issue , I just doubt you'll see any more fps than your 470 generally.

What you will be able to do is just max graphics settings on any title for the next 2 or 3 years without any worry.
