Im out of information on this topic, because it is too specific to my case. I have a Pioneer VSX-915 receiver and just bought a new smart TV - the Samsung S90C. I saw in the receiver's manual how to teach its' remote control (XXD3084) to control the TV via a set of preset samsung TV codes already in the remote (644/646). Neither of them work on it and the only other option is to enter learning mode and teach it with the TV's remote. But my problem is that I want to enter the service menu of the TV which according to the internet is only possible if you enter a specific button combination not available on these small remotes the TVs come with. My end goal is to see if I've been sold a used TV by checking the runtime of the panel in the service menu. Because I noticed a dead pixel 2 days ago and got the shop to order another TV so they can replace mine. Obviously the go-to idea is to go and buy a remote, program it and go ahead without posting anything, but where's the fun in that :) Cheers to anyone reading

You need a replacement remote. Not too hard to find even if you can't procure one from Pioneer.
