Question Can you flash Resizable Bar VBios while motherboard does not support it?

I want to flash my gpu vbios to enable resizable bar but my motherboard (asrock z490 phantom gaming 4) does not support it, no bios update for it.

(im updating mainly for optimized fan curve and not for the resizable bar, but the latest version i could find was only for that)
am i going to brick a component if i update the vbios?

because of strange fan activity at low percentage, fans would start and stop at 33%-45% continuously when the temperature is right at the threshold.

You can edit the fan curve with MSI afterburner

i tried that, it started causing artifacts in-game and i was seeing flickering black squares on desktop

i have yet to draw a connection between fan curve and gpu instability but im thinking it probably was the "start up with windows" that could have messed up with gpu stability as it was booting up

gpu temp was 37 with very minimal load (was seeing artifacts in EU4 which isnt very demanding on gpu + on desktop with no load at all)

psu is Corsair TX850M Gold 80+ 850W
