Will the huntkey 550w does the job for the 2nd build?

I use this pc for video editing, playing games, such as: csgo, dishonored, far cry 4, unity...

The 6350 and 280X combo is awesome, I would also go with the WDC blue and not the green, you also don't say what PSU you're looking at for that build, or are you thinking of the same FSP? I would recommend the EVGA 650 B2. (Sorry, I can't post links right now).
The first build but use a Core i5 4440. I recommend an SSD maybe a Crucial MX100 256GB or a Samsung 850 Pro 128GB. Also it might be good to use a Asus, Gigabyte or msi motherboard maybe a Z97 chipset to ensure compatibility with the CPU.

Well AMD will consume more power at idle and under load as well as run hotter at idle and under load. He also didn't list a PSU for the AMD based system probably because of how much more the system will require.

Which is of almost zero importance to most people if it means they can get more GPU on their budget, hence my asking what OP's intended usage is.

personally of the 2 bottom build wins by a land slide thanks to the more powerful gpu (at least in gaming) without knowing more though hard one to pick components for. I'm guessing a gaming build?

I've seen posts about how 280x will botteleneck the 6350, is that true?

Are people still gaming on Dual Core's?
