Let's say your internet WIFI IP address is 192.168.1.10 with your WIFI router of 192.168.1.1. You have to set the IP of the second wireless network to be something OTHER THAN 192.168.1.x So you go to the control panel on the printer and set the IP address of the printer to 192.168.99.99,. If it won't accept 0.0.0.0 for the gateway or DNS, then you put 192.168.99.1 -- Even though that device will NEVER exist. Then on the laptop, you put 192.168.99.10 as the IP for the private printer network. Put no entry for the gateway. You can then ADD a network printer with 192.168.99.99 as the address on the laptop.
