Can you install a GPU without a CD?

Hi guys, quick question. Had a ex vega 64 delivered recently and the installation guide says i need the CD provided to install the GPU. Thing is, I can’t find any CD that apparently came with the GPU. Do I need it?

I would think that the only reason you would need the CD is for the driver and I would think you could get that from the internet....of course I may be wrong....but I can't imagine any other reason you would need it.

Windows will install a generic driver initially. You can then download the actual drivers from AMD.

The cd is if you don't have an internet connection to get the drivers. If you install the drivers from the cd, they will auto update to most recent drivers anyways. Best to download them off the gpu website firsthand if you have internet so you don't have to deal with redownloading and reinstalling several times.
