[SOLVED] Can you mix two different brands of RAM?

I have two modules of Corsair 8gb ddr4 2400mhz installed. Can I install crucial 8gb ddr4 2400mhz?
Can I mix these two brands?

My motherboard:- Asus z270p

It may or may not work, memory is tested to work together which is why it's sold in kits. Even pairing two identical kits a system may not be stable or even boot.

Yes, you can, however memory manufacturers don't guarantee such combinations to be compatible together. Memory is guaranteed in the form sold.

Workarounds to get extra memory working include:
Lower memory clock speed
Relax DRAM timings
Increase DRAM voltage.
