So One of my friend's Dad said this regarding pc vs console gaming. Keep in mind a lot of it is wrong, and ironically he claims to work with computers. Here it is:
"PCs are obsolete once they hit the shelves. You drop $300 when a new and better PC is already about to be out. Meanwhile, console update themselves automatically, improving hardware and stability. You could upgrade your PC, but that just milks money out of you. $3000 for a high grade graphics card without the RAM, motherboard, processor, or HDMI. As for 120 frames? That's 4k, so unless you bought a 4k monitor then that's bull. Even if the game is 120fps, the monitor wouldn't handle nor would the graphics card if it wasn't a high quality expensive one. The processor would also wear out twice as fast. And a one TB hard drive? Our TV has that. The cheapest "all-in-one" PC is $500, and that doesn't even have blue-ray. So, PCs are not cost effective, and milk the money out of you with upgrades and better ones coming out. A true, awesome PC is around $10,000. The guys you are talking about are wannabe PC gamers."
