Ok, so i got this hp laptop, and the battery died some time ago. It preety much says its 97-100% charged and sometimes it says "Not charging" whil plugged. When i unplud the cabble, it says 1h 30 minutes, lets say. And it goes out fast, like from 80% to 70% in like 5 minute, when it gets to 70% it shuts down instantly, but there is still some juice inside, so it can reopen, but it will shut down while booting. Coincidently my phone battery is dying too and coincidently its a li-ion battery. The phone's battery drains verry fast when on data. I heard that if you stick a dead battery like from a laptop in a freezer it should get a bit better, but i dont know if it works on li-ion batteries and i dont want to damage the batteries more. So my question is: If i stick them in a freezer will this trick work, or i should not do it?
P.S. I just calibrated laptop's battery and it charges really fast, is it dead 100% dead?

Yes, it sounds like you need a new battery. Cold is usually the enemy of batteries. The colder the temp, the less effective they are at holding a charge. So, I can't see how freezing one will help. I take it you are dead broke and can't afford a new battery?

No, im not, but its not worth to buy a new battery for a laptop, because A. It is hard to find sometimes B. Its not freaking worth, i use the laptop when i go to somewhere and watch movies on it, and i dont use it on the road. So i dont want to buy a new battery, if i would get a new laptop soon, cause these laptops, unfortunately cant be upgraded as good as a pc can.
