Can you Run Far Cry 1 on Windows Ten 64 Pro?

I am trying to get it to run but no luck.

Memory : 2046MB(400)

Mother Board : M2N-SLI DELUXE

Windows Version : Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64

Off of Steam or from a CD/DVD? Steam should work.

Iffy. Find the executable, right-click, properties, compatibility, set to xp or as far back as you can, check run as admin (probably not needed...) and try again.

Is there a specific error? Might be missing an old windows library.

Note: if available on steam or GoG, the games have usually been updated to work on newer OSs.

No error message it looks like its going to start and I get the the waiting round thing but that as far as it goes. It does not start.

Probably a no-go then. Personal preference, but I like FC3 better than 1
