Can you SLI two different GPUs?

Hi guys! I have 2 different GPUs (GTX 970 & GTX 780Ti) and I was wondering if I could use the most of them. Now, I know, these 2 GPUs aren't the best on the market but that's not an issue for me. I'm just curious if I can SLI them on my motherboard (Asus Z97-PROGAMER).


Also, a suggestion for a SLI cable would be appreciated. Thanks!

You cannot sli 2 different graphics cards.

ATI/AMD cards are a bit more relaxed with crossfire, but Nvidia is very strict on this.

Those cards are not SLI compatible. SLI requires the cards to use the same gpu and vram. Those 2 cards miss both of those requirements.

Besides, What SLI cable would you need, if makers send cards with one bridge on the box?

An sli bridge is a moot point.

Not with Nvidia, they are very strict about this. You need two gpus of the same model to SLI. With amd some gpus can crossfire with other models. But since you have Nvidia already, no, they can't.

If I get a second card that is a 1060 3gb by another manufacturer, can they SLI?
