if i upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10
and then week later i want to clean instal
does microsoft give me a new key for clean instal ?

Solution
To stop update in Windows 10 Pro ONLY
1. search for gpedit.msc
2. Click on Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Configure Automatic Updates
3. There is 3 options for you to choose in Configure Automatic Updates (Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled). Choose disabled if you wish to stop the auto update.
4. Open settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced options
5. If disabled, it should say "Some settings are managed by your organization."
you need to do the first installation from within windows. It gives you the choice of either keeping stuff or doing clean install which I doubt is as clean as manually formatting the drive but still.

After first update from windows, you can do following ones from bootable cd/usb and windows will sniff the activation from internet based on your hardware (I think)

Solution
You can do this literally in every version of Windows 10. To manually turn updates off, follow the steps below!

Step 1. Windows Key + R type; services.msc
Step 2. Find "Windows Updates" right click on it, click "Stop". Next, go to properties, set Startup type: "Disabled"
Step 3. For the maximum effect, I'd recommend you to restart your machine and you're done.
