[SOLVED] Can you switch gpu coolers with a different brand?

Hi there, so i got this zotac gtx 760 and it has a crappy cooler like the founders edition, so I was thinking if I could switch the gpu cooler with a dual fan cooler like replacing the cooler with the gigabyte gtx 750 ti windforce or maybe the his rx 470 cooler, would it work. Do amd gpus and nvidia gpus cooler have different mounting, or all gpu coolers has the same mount.

The layout of the boards vary. Even the same model from the same manufacturer can vary. Like if Zotac has five different editions of the GTX 760. Some may have different layouts.

Your best best is an aftermarket universal cooler. As they just mount to the GPU itself. Then use stick on heat sinks for the VRAM.

But with how much those cost and how old the GTX760 is. It’s hardly worth it.
