I was looking at two 10GB intel NICs and was wondering if i could use them in my soon to be build computer or if I should look at others.

Intel E10G41AT2 AT2 Server Adapter 10Gbps PCI Express 2.0 x8 1 x RJ45

Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540-T1

If these wont work Will somone recomend the faster, best Nic i could use otherwise?

Thanks

Of course you can. I do this fairly often, you just need to make sure there are drivers for your OS for that NIC. Keep in mind that if your network is only 1Gbit capable buying a 10Gbe NIC is pointless as it will only run at 1Gb
I do not know off hand which of these NICs would be better. I would imagine they would be about the same. Your will need to check the Intel Download Center for drivers for Windows 10.

Keep in mind that plugging this in will peel off 8 PCI-Express lanes from the CPU (Not really an issue on your X99 chipset though)
