Can you use ASUS AI Suite with different MOBO manufacturers boards?

My homie was looking into overclocking his rig and was wondering if he could use the ASUS AI Suite on an MSI z170a.

Welcome. MSI has it's own software that does the same thing, though it is preferable to learn how to overclock with the bios. There are many fine visual tutorials on YouTube.
