But where to purchase?

I contacted ASUS directly and they only forwarded me to their reseller-vendor list

Not sure about your question.

ASUS provided a list of vendors so the next step would be to visit those vendor websites, search for the desired/required items, check availability, prices, shipping costs, warranties, etc..

If you are asking for recommendations regarding which of the vendors on the list (Canadian - correct?) then I will need to defer to Canadian members or to those who have otherwise purchased via those vendors.

If you have at least one PCIe x1 free slot, practically any PCIe to 2x NVMe adapters should work,They are nothing more than just straight full size PCIe bus to M.2, no conversion is required. There are some with RAID controller if you want it that way.
