CanFallout 3 run on windows 7 through steam

My Fallout 3 goty edition will not run on my laptop. I start a new game and it says that there is an error and it must shut down. My specs are Windows 7 64 bit, Quad-core 1.2ghz per, 4g of ram, Nvidia Geforce 310m. Any suggestions?

I would try there because it doesn't look like you are the only one having the problem. More than likley its a bug in the game more than its your hardware or Windows 7.
