Question Cannot access admin page of Zyxel router

Hi All,

I am having issues accessing the admin page of my Zyxel router.

I tried entering its IP address into the browser but it gave me a 'This site can't be reached' message.
Then I did a factory-reset on my router, waited 2-3 minutes for it to load and my PC to find it again, and then I WAS able to access the admin page using the router's IP, factory username and password.

However, 1-2 minutes later I heard a 'click' noise coming from the router and after that I lost connection to the admin page, it timed out. I tried resetting several times with the same outcome.

Does anyone have any idea of what might be causing the issue and how I could solve it?

Well bro, this seems to be an hardware issue.

What is your router manufacture?

Ahh that would suck, would take ages for my ISP to replace it.

It is a Zyxel router. Zyxel p-2812hnu-f1 vt

Appreciate it! The really weird thing is that I can use the internet, which is through the router, so my PC 'sees' the router. Don't spend too much time on it though, worst case scenario is that I talk to my ISP tomorrow.
