Cannot access BIOS

hello,
when i boot my PC i press the correct key to enter the BIOS, and the option for what i pressed is highlighted, but nothing happens

my boot time is really slow so i want to check the boot order in BIOS, but cannot access it

tried it, a lot, still doesnt work

when i press the f2 key now, it beeps three times at 30 second intervals, then the screen goes black and stays black, i ma getting more and more confused

Is your PC an OEM Pre-built one? (Dell, HP, Compaq, Acer etc.)
This is just a hypothesis but your BIOS could be locked.
It might also be password locked (though all you need to do is either run a BIOS cracking software from a live-cd or remove the motherboard battery (wait 10-20 seconds) and put it back in.
