Cannot Access Printer Properties in Word

I have a DeskJet 2135 printer which I use for my home. Today I opened up Word and tried to access printer properties and it gave me this error -

Clicking OK locks up Word and I have to force shut it through Task Manager. Dont rightly know what could have caused this since I used the printer after 3-4 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you running Windows 10 and have you re-booted the computer since first encountering this error? Sometimes Windows 10 acts "strange" when it wants to install new updates and re-boot.

I did. I suspect it was after one of these updates. I got a notification a couple of times that Windows failed to install updates.

There is no problem on your hp dj2130 printer or its driver. You just restart your computer, it may resolve. If the problem persist, Uninstall your office and reinstall it again.

My alternative or temperary solution is convert your word doucment in to pdf file and try printing. For conversion ther are lots of free tools available on internel just google it

A clean install of Windows fixed it. Update probably screwed something up because all of my softwares got their installations corrupted.
