Question Cannot boot from an ssd

I have spent 6 weeks building a pc, I used a usb with a win 10 pro key to install windows on my ssd , the HD’s does not show up anywhere, can anyone help me (also first time building a pc, so bear with me)

Did I mention that the m.2 ssd only shows up only if I turn on csm, and when it doesn’t show up, I put it in boot 1 and it still never boots

Is your SATA controller set to AHCI or RAID mode? Did you install Windows with CSM enabled or disabled?

i figured it out,when i installed windows on the m.2, i had a hd plugged in that didnt show up either, and it worked when the hdd was in, but when i took the hdd out, it stopped working,
