Cannot boot from usb on asus f205ta

Made a usb bootable media burning a win8.1 iso image.
Configuring the usb to be uefi and tried both mbr and gpt.
After getting to boot menu I get 3 options:
-Windows Boot Manager
-UEFI:[USB_NAME]
-Enter Setup

I select the 2nd option and the screen goes black for a while.
After about 5 seconds the boot menu is displayed again and I choose the second option again.
After that my system boots the installed OS and boot from usb seems impossible.
Also disabled secure boot.

How is this first boot selection screen being brought up? Are you pressing anything or set the bios in some way?

I pressed the hotkey to access the boot menu.

Found the solution.
The specific laptop does not support 64 bit operating systems.
Its UEFI only supports 32 bit.
