I've been using kde neon for a while but today after playing some steam games on it, I was unable to boot back into it. I got this black screen and had to boot up through terminal
One of the messages I got was "haudio unable to bind the codec "
I tried out some commands systemctl status graphical.target
systemctl status sddm
Here is Xorg log file 1 and Xorg log file 0
Looking through some linux forums I found one of the fixes was commenting out
Section "Extensions"Option "Composite" "Disable"EndSection
That line in Xorg config. I didnt have a Xorg config for some reason so I decided to create one by using the command sudo Xorg -configure
But this also gave me an error. I have nvidia drivers installed on my laptop which apparently might be the cause of the issue but I'm not sure if I should just full on uninstall it.
